According to a recent report in the Times of India, a 23-year-old youth from Banda village in Jaipur died when his mobile phone exploded on Monday. The report didn’t further divulge detail on any eye witness account of the incident. The boy was apparently talking over the phone when it exploded, causing serious injuries to his right ear. The body of the victim, Gopal Gujjar, was found near his farm along with remains of mobile phone and battery on Tuesday morning.

Update: missing Richfield Tibetan woman, 83, is found safe in St. Paul

An 83-year-old Richfield woman who had gone missing when she went for a walk Friday was found safe Sunday morning in St. Paul.

Pemba, a Tibetan woman who has no last name, was spotted by a St. Paul police officer near Marshall Avenue and Wheeler Street around 7 a.m. Sunday.

Even though she had been missing for about 48 hours, she was found to be in good health and was reunited with her family, Richfield police dispatcher Jay Burns said.

“She’s just fine,” Burns said. “No foul play. She was just walking.”

Burns said Pemba told them she slept in bushes and walked since she left her home in the 6300 block of Vincent Avenue S., around 7:30 a.m. Friday for her daily walk.
