My favorite piece is the one I wrote for my root guru, it is a fervent prayer for the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Later at an exhibition in India His Holiness saw that piece and wrote a response to it. The invaluable piece will also be at display at the Tibet House Exhibition. You are most welcome to the opening reception on Friday (Sept. 15) at 6pm at the Tibet House, New York. Tokyo exhition was a great success. My exhibition in Bangkok will continue for a month at Serindia. My next month long exhibition will begin at Tibet House,New York from September,15th and those in USA are welcome. During this period,I was able to meet and interact with many calligraphy artists in these countries and learnt a lot.I am happy to tell my friends, especially to those with whom we share a common script that Tibetan calligraphy has the capacity to reachtthe much deserved height in the world of calligraphy, if promoted properly, and with your encouragements and inspiration,the day is not far.
